n-ZO Enterprise
n-ZO Enterprise provides a distributed data store in-memory and on-disk that delivers data at low latencies to applications in multiple formats. n-ZO Enterprise is available as two products:
- n-ZO Enterprise
Standards-based, native Java product that stores data as Java objects and supports the JCache semantics.- n-ZO Enterprise-C++ edition
Native C++ product for non-Java, non-JVM environments store objects as C++ objects in n-ZO regions. Each of these products provides the highest level of performance, scalability and lowest latency, bar none in the industry. Both products support industry-leading features such as distributed transactions and distributed querying.
n-ZO Real-Time Events (RTE)
No information fabric is complete without the ability to harness intelligent data from incoming business events, regardless of the volume and speed of those events that affect the enterprise. n-ZO RTE provides a complex event-processing infrastructure to process events and analyze them in conjunction with other information that is enterprise specific. The analytics is configurable with easy-to-use rules (using SQL or OQL) and applicable on a continuous basis against incoming event streams. The intelligent data sets based on these analytics can be delivered to target systems of interest using push or pull models on a timed or real-time basis.
n-ZO Enterprise acts as an information fabric that allows scalable, real-time distribution of these intelligent data sets and as a source for information for continuous analytics performed on incoming events.n-ZO JDBC Interceptor
n-ZO JDBC Interceptor is a point solution for database developers to accelerate database performance by using an embedded n-ZO Enterprise fabric. The easy-to-learn and deploy product enables quick deployment and demonstrates the power of the enterprise information fabric in a quick-win.

WHY AN ENTERPRISE INFORMATION FABRIC?
Applications need data from multiple sources available to them on demand and must be able to operate on this data in a high-performance manner at very low latencies. Applications must also be conscious of changing data, based on events that affect business decisions driven by applications both inside and outside the enterprise. Existing technology infrastructure cannot meet the demand and requirements of today and tomorrow's enterprise applications:
- Databases can store large data volumes - but are not distributed, disk latency is extremely high and data transformations often become a bottleneck.
- Messaging systems/EAI are distributed - but cannot store data (fire-and-forget systems), clients cannot access data on demand and marshalling/unmarshalling is expensive.
- Application servers are perfect containers for applications - but have no semantics around data management except for simple programmatic caching.
- EII servers can federate data across sources - but are not scalable, cannot store/cache data and cannot scale to large data volumes.
Homegrown solutions can address these issues but are expensive to build, require very specialized skill sets, hard to maintain and are economically unfeasible as this becomes a critical piece of infrastructure.
SEVEN REQUIREMENTS FOR AN EDF
- Ultra-high performance, low-latency data distribution and high data throughput.
- Caching and persistence models for extremely large volumes of data across distributed environments.
- Data virtualization across enterprise data sources.
- Guaranteed QoS for data access and high data availability for reliable operations.
- Multiple data format and language support with true interoperability.
- Event analytics, notification and stream data management.
- Seamless fit into existing enterprise architectures.
n-ZO, The Enterprise Information Fabric
The n-ZO Enterprise Information Fabric comprises a suite of products that deliver a scalable, distributed data infrastructure enabling real-time delivery and access of relevant data to multiple touch-points. n-ZO delivers and distributes intelligent data to applications, enables event processing and analysis, and provides an on-demand, virtualized store of data from multiple sources in multiple formats with multi-language interfaces. Information-centric environments like service-oriented architectures (SOAs), event-driven architectures, and high-performance grids benefit from robust and reliable data middleware like n-ZO. The n-ZO solution suite includes n-ZO Enterprise, n-ZO Enterprise - C++, n-ZO Real-Time Events, and n-ZO JDBC Interceptor. This solution suite brings together seven essential characteristics of an enterprise information fabric.
n-ZO Enterprise is a high-performance, distributed data management platform that makes large volumes of data available on demand to applications regardless of underlying data sources or formats. Proven in mission-critical programs in financial services, telecommunications, energy, logistics and federal programs, n-ZO Enterprise is built on one of the industry's fastest and most reliable data distribution and caching systems.
n-ZO Enterprise natively manages data in Java, C, and XML formats and offers transparent interfaces for C++, C#/Microsoft .NET applications as well. It supports distributed transactions and standards-based querying of data while ensuring high availability for data through mechanisms like mirroring/replication and disk persistence. n-ZO Enterprise supports most well-known technology standards, including JCache, JMS, JDBC, SOAP , and HTTP, and provides a variety of standard interfaces for applications to interact with the fabric. This enables the deployment of high-performance architectures at significantly lower costs. n-ZO-based architectures are characterized by reduced data latency, enhanced scalability, and increased performance, benefiting service-oriented architectures, J2EE/.NET applications and grid deployments. n-ZO Enterprise also includes a highly optimized XML data management module for storing and distributing XML documents. The nZO product suite includes:
